Q: Are vintage sizes different from current clothing sizes?

A: Yes indeed! A vintage size 8 is like a modern size 4. But all of our clothing is measured and sized according to modern day garment sizes. So a size 6 dress on our site is the same as a size 6 garment from huge retailers such as Gap or JCrew.

Q: Can I return any clothing after it’s been shipped to me?

A: You can return any clothing up until 10 days after the post mark shipping date. (i.e. If we post mark a dress to you on February 12th you have until February 22th to return it to us. That means we must have it back in our possession on the 22th of February or we cannot refund your money). We apologize in advance if this policy is an inconvenience to any of our shoppers.

Q: Is B&A Vintage only available on the web?

A: No, it’s also sold in some retail stores in New York City, which you can find out by contacting us. The reason we don’t have the names of the stores listed on this site is because we like to change what stores we sell at on a month to month basis.

Q: Has all the vintage clothing on this site been washed or dry cleaned?

A: Without a doubt!!! We wash or dry clean (depending on the fabric) all of our precious garments. No need to worry about any funky smells, stains or dirt. We even have our leather and suede cleaned!

Q: How does Betty and Archie Vintage get from my computer screen onto my body?

A: In order for us to make you look fabulous, you will need to create a shopping cart account through our site. Once you log in to your account you can add as many items as we have available. Afterwards you can complete your purchase through paypal where you will select a method of payment and your shipping options as well (We currently ship only in the USA). After checking out you will receive an email confirmation with your proof of purchase and the date of delivery details.

Q: How do all the different sizes fit the B&A model?

A: Most of the clothes on the model seem to fit because we use a size 2/4 model for sizes 2-8 and we use a size 6/8 model for sizes 8-12. Any loose fabric is temporarily clipped or pinned to show the actual fit of each garment in the photos.
